- Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
(Andrew) I’ve been collected all the material till 2006, that I wanted to implement. I invited vocalist Alexander and drummer Peter, who was playing in a local band “Dark Lord”, Alex decided to be our guitarist and master of special effects, and the work began. We haven’t ever wanted to play live, but we just wanted to record an album. 4 years later our debut album “Brownian motion” came out.
(Alexander) We are lucky that we were able to come together and each of us brought into the world of music something beautiful and meaningful.
- How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
(Alexander) We have no certain style. DRUKNROLL is a mixture of styles. There are many bands which have left their contribution to the sound of our band.
(Andrew) Yes, we don’t have a certain style of music, it is said, “do not disdain anything” (it’s a joke). I listen to a variety of music like fresh material of bands Soilwork, In Flames, Mercenary, Degradead.
- Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
(Andrew) If you stoked on any certain style, want to learn anything unusual in music, go ahead, fill your brain with new musical ideas, then you should definitely listen to fresh album of DRUKNROLL called “Boiling Point”.
- What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
(Andrew) There are a lot of positive reviews on our album. Here’s a recent example: 3 of our songs were revolved on Polish radio Naklo a few weeks ago.
- Do you play live as well? How’s your live activity so far?
(Andrew) We don’t play live now. We just focus on studio work and shooting videos. I’m responsible for 3 instruments in the band; its guitar, bass and keys. We can adapt to the concerts, so we have to find musicians and forth, but this is not necessary.
- What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
(Andrew) Music has to speak for itself. DRUKNROLL is a high-quality, contemporary and original material, and every modern Metalist has to listen to it.
- What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
(Andrew) In the near future we are going to shoot video for our new song “Outside”. The clip should appear in the Autumn of 2014. But in general we have been working on new studio material, have written 4 studio songs. I plan to take part in several compilations.

(Andrew) Metal Scrap Records is responsible for all the things; it is actively engaged in the distribution and quality promotional support in Ukraine, Europe, Russia and the USA. CD-Maximum is responsible for the distribution in Russia too.
