1) Hello, guys! To be honest, when I saw the name of your band, I thought that you play wild beer folk or something like that, but instead it’s such a strong melodic death metal that Alexi Laiho smokes on the sidelines. How should I understand such misinformation?))
Andrey: Yes, DRUKNROLL can be translated as “beer” roll, but this is not true at all, Google gives a clear translation on this account – it’s fu..k’n’druk’n’rock’n’roll! And I would also add in Russian – we do not play beer folk, but alcohol fuck!
2) In less than six years, as many as five albums have been recorded. It seems that your material does not linger on the far shelves. Wow, everything is for the people!
Andrey: Right on target, Alexander! In the spring we released our fifth full-length album “Unbalanced” in English and released the video “Hundred” to support the album! In general, we had a blast!
3) Where did the love for the guitar come from and what musical idols helped it?
Denis: The love for the guitar was not born. At least, I couldn’t track it at that time. But I can clearly say that I had a wild desire to learn to play the guitar. I have been doing this for 14 years now, with varying success. One of those who inspired me to take this step was Metallica.
4) The ever-memorable A – One rotated the video ” Defense of Sevastopol “. Now the channel has passed away, but many have not lost hope of reviving it. Do you think the music channel format is relevant in our difficult times?
Andrey: For me, any movement in the world of heavy music is relevant! The channel was great, they charged a lot of young musicians there and the revival of this channel is a great step into eternity, or rather into infinity!
5) The loyalty of Metal Scrap Records is amazing. Have you tried to publish in Russia yet?
Andrey: I tried, the first album was published here, but you haven’t heard much about it, right? But the next 4 albums have already been released on Metal Scrap Records and we are very happy with this label, which gives us great movement both in Russia and abroad!
6) What are your creative plans? Should we expect some crazy rock and roll with beer?
Alexander: No beer, only pure nuclear “alcohol” in the form of high-speed modern thrash symphonic death and a little bit of melodic! By the end of the year we want to release a new EP of 3 fresh compositions and support all this with a jaw-dropping video!
